You may make-up posts that you missed, but please:
1. Number your posts in the entry title and include the topic
2. Do your best to have them appear in reverse chronological order, where your final reflections are at the top and the 10 photo assignment is at the bottom - you can do this with Schedule option on post settings - on the right of the window.
Your blog is worth 10 POINTS of your final grade. 1 point per post.
Assigned posts are as follows:
Post #1: Finding your visual style & aesthetics: 10 Photos that inspire you
Post #2: Five favorite film scenes (embedded photos and/or video excerpts)
Post #3: Motivated camera movement examples
Post #4: DSLR techniques - what are the strengths? what are the limitations of this format?
Post #5: Examples of lighting styles
Post #6: Share your scene assignment materials - shot list, storyboard, floor plan
Post #7: The "best" camera - explain what camera you chose to film your scene assignment and why. What worked and what was challenging (or didn't work)?
Post #8: Scene Assignment & Visual References -Embed your scene assignment video. Also include a few images that inspired the visual style of your scene and, if possible, also embed 3 stills from your filmed scene. Talk about what you achieved, and how, as well as what wasn't achievable and why (if you know & why you don't know, if you don't understand how/why your vision wasn't fully realized on screen).
Post #10: Final Reflections on the Course - what did you learn. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses In light of what you've done this semester, what do you think is your creative path or career goals?
Additionally, you'll have the midterm shot x shot analysis assignment which is worth 10 points!
